Introduction
In 1999, right after Gerhard Kramler completed his study of computer science, he joined the Department of Information S ystems at the University of Linz to work on the Co-flow project. From 2000 on, he was employed as university assistant at the same department. Following the call of Prof. Gerti Kappel, in February 2002 he moved to the Business Informatics Group at Vienna University of Technology, where he received a PhD degree in 2004.
